News: Common Questions Regarding Lace Wigs - by @BeautyCutright

We are thrilled to have YouTube Beauty Guru @BeautyCutright join us to address some of the most common questions from our customers, particularly those who are new to wearing hair wigs. Let's dive in!

Question 1: Is it okay to sleep in hair wigs?
BeautyCutright: I personally don’t sleep in my lace wigs. While it is possible to sleep with them on, it does require regular maintenance. I prefer to place my wig on a wig head and wear it again the next day or whenever I choose.

Question 2: How do you apply your lace units?
BeautyCutright: I don’t use any glues or hair products to secure my wigs. For full lace wig, I prefer glueless lace wigs and use an elastic band that stretches from ear to ear on the lace cap with ear tabs, which helps it sit flat against my head.

Question 3: What is the lifespan of full lace wigs?
BeautyCutright: They can last over a year with proper care. I recommend not sleeping in them, as that would require frequent washing and styling. It’s best to wear the wigs, remove it, and then put it back on when you want. With minimal care, lace wigs can last for years.

Question 4: How often do you wash your lace wigs?
BeautyCutright: I typically wash mine once a month or every couple of months, or whenever I want to restyle it. Wash it when it gets dirty or if you’ve used too many products on it.

Question 5: What products should I use to care for my lace wigs?
BeautyCutright: Use products that you already use on your own hair; they should work just fine. There’s no need to search for specific products for your lace wig.

Question 6: How often should I deep condition my hair wig?
BeautyCutright: I don’t think deep conditioning is necessary since I don’t sleep in my wigs. If you do sleep in yours, consider deep conditioning once a month or every couple of months when you co-wash it, using a deep conditioner you already have.

Overall, keep it simple and don’t overthink it. For more detailed information, check out her video here:
