News: What is a Fake Scalp Lace Cap? How does a wig with a Fake Scalp Lace Cap appear?
The concept of the fake scalp hair lace wig cap was inspired by a video from @MsPreciousMarie, where we all used the stocking cap method while wearing wigs. This method involves gluing a stocking cap to our heads to create a bald appearance, allowing the cap to stay in place within the wig and conceal our natural black hair, resulting in a more realistic hair parting and hairline.
However, @MsPreciousMarie innovatively cut the stocking cap and sewed it into the front lace area of the wig to serve as a fake scalp. This eliminates the need to wear and glue a stocking cap inside the wig while still achieving the same natural look.
As a result, we have launched the new fake scalp lace cap. Additionally, we have used a strong, stretchable lace instead of stocking cap material. To enhance the natural appearance of the wig, we have included features such as bleached knots, a pre-plucked hairline, and a removable, adjustable elastic band to ensure a secure fit.
Here’s a detailed description of the features of the bleached knots fake scalp cap wig:
- Sew-in Fake Scalp: Stretchable lace sewn into the front parting area to act as a false scalp.
- Bleached Knots: Hair knots are bleached to a color that closely matches our scalp.
- Pre-plucked Hairline: Tiny single knots (about 0.5 inches) along the hairline to make the knots less visible.
- Removable Elastic Band: An adjustable elastic band sewn in to keep the hair wig secure and flatten the hairline.
